Loving this! Somehow I'm imagining this working really well with imagery from the most recent Dune movie

This albums tone (and tuning) has Remission style heavy all over it. It just clicked with me finally this year.

@@jarlwhiterun7478 Up there for me as well, no doubt. My favorites forever being the Remission, Leviathan, Blood Mountain run.. Now that I think about it, honestly this is definitely my 4th favorite album after those 3. Talk about againg and evolving well haha 🤘🤘

@@jarlwhiterun7478 Damn. Now you've got me reeaaally thinking about it and what *release* would be my 5th lol. Gonna have to go with The Hunter. Brent speaking loudly with his guitar all over that mf. May as well finish this lmao. 6. Call of The Mastodon (was also pretty vital for me as a musician, plus forever brings back great memories with a close friend no longer with us) 7. Crack The Skye 8. Medium Rarities 9. Cold Dark Place 10. Emperor of Sand 11. Once More 'Round The Sun Deciding which order to go with for 7, 8 & 9 more god damn difficult than I imagined it would be lmao. These dudes have literally enhanced my musical experience in every way and been a huge inspiration since I was 15 years old (turning 34 in a couple of months) Seeing, meeting and chatting with some of them on the Blood Mountain tour in Feb. 2007 along with the close friend I mentioned that's passed on was like a pivotal moment yo. Was a fucking SICK time to see them. Only had Remission, Leviathan, Blood Mountain to perform omfg dude I still have the flyer/promo and setlist saved on PC/cloud, etc. They helped me advance to a new level of playing, and excel so fast.. Tbh, best band that's formed in the past 25 years.. maybe longer.. Thank you for provoking deep thought about my #1 passion
