As someone who draws and hasn’t felt artistically motivated in awhile, it’s inspiring to hear Brann go through similar tribulations and come out on top.

I actually needed to hear this today. It hasn't been the good most part of a week. I have an issue with drawing and not coming back to it because I'd get upset quick. There's no race and I don't understand why I need to hurry and finish. It hit me like, "You don't need to finish for others.." I've been even afraid of displaying my feelings through my art so I hide them in monsters back then. Now I kind of open a bit more with emotions in my art. At some point I noticed each character I drawn had a angry face expression and never smiled. I laugh thinking like well what have I been feeling today? It's really cool that you guys sat down and spoke with him about his Clown drawings. Each has a story of its own. ❤🤘🏾

I did almost the exact same thing 😂 i used to draw all the time as a kid but when I started playing guitar my creative energy shifted. Fast forward years later I started sketching just to keep my mind busy during all this crapy stuff going on and now its reignited my drawing love and have been drawing more then anything i do now lol

i met brann at the dragon con this year (2021), literally walked by him in the dark, outside the Marriott. Did a double take, and was like, "holy shit, brann dailor!" he stopped and we chatted for a few minutes, mostly just me star-struck going, "oh my god, dude, huge fan! HUGE HUGE fan!" he was super nice and offered to take a picture. seriously one of the best moments of my life. fucking LOVE mastodon!

Brann is an absolute legend, one of the best in the business and a sick ass singer, what a talent. So excited to hear the new album, they never disappoint me and I know Brann’s drums will be off the charts like always

wooooow I’d love to meet Brann. this guy totally has a story and he’s such a warm, fun loving person. All the guys from Mastodon totally seem like they have killer, heart wrenching stories but this guy in particular just definitely seems like a good time lol

Often times creativity manifests in more than 1 way and combine especially Metal and Art and like for myself I was always musical and artistic and played in bands and made art, eventually I got to combine the 2 and do art for bands even. Cool interview.

what he says about not being able to turn off the thoughts about Mastodon. I relate very heavily. It's a nice feeling when you can keep thinking about it but it gets really uncomfortable when you realise you can't stop thinking about it if you needed to

So far, six people who watched this video do not like clowns. Normally, I would say "what a bunch of clowns..", but Brann changed my perspective on clowns a bit.

Silly. It is very common for artists to draw clowns. Simple easy $$$$ trying to profit on their fame, and people jump when their favourite artists says "jump".
