lasoogneypubes the beat is actually quite advanced though... ut may sound simple but listen ti details.. there is a reason brann dailor is one of the best drummers we have today and probably one of the best of all time. Singing and drumming is really hard unless you use basic beats

another band like this is The Ocean. From the earlier recordings I've seen/heard, they were a far less polished band (with insanely sophisticated studio compositions) and now they knock everything out of the park.

I wish Bill would take lead vocals in at least one song. Fingers crossed it would happen on the next album. Judging from the Crack the Skye documentary the band pretty much forced Brann to take over vocals on Oblivion. Glad they did bc they made an epic rendition of King Diamond out of him

There are no lead singers in this band. Triple tag team vocals, which gives this band a unique characteristic, Bill does most of the gutturals or growls live but never studio sings. Jaguar God, Most of their music is either written in 2 or 3 parts.
