I am a new watcher who really enjoys your narration on the videos. As a person who has suffered with psoriasis for the last 50 years, I have noticed my hearing has dramatically decreased in the past 18 months. I want to "Thank you" for your very informative videos. First of all, I want you to know that I absolutely Love this channel. I could watch it all day. Cause I already watch it all night, lol. I was wondering though, if you have any client who are people of different ethnic groups. I would love to see how they look. And if so do ear çanals differ between ? And do ear canals differ between men and women? I often wonder, especially being a woman of color. 😊 Keep doing what you're doing because you are awesome at it. Much respect.

I've got a mastoid cavity and Rhys isn't wrong, it hurt like mad when I was a child. 36 yrs later and it can still be tender when the audiologist has a look 🤭 I'm quite lucky that I don't get a lot of build up but when I have the procedure done, I always get clarineting! It's like the whirling pits when you've had a few but not as fun! So it's always better to have the manual tools for me 🥰 Great vid, Rhys and yes, it's great when it's done and removed, I cheer my audiologist on 😆🙏🏻 Thanks for another brilliant explained vid 👍🏻🍺❤

I have the mastoid cavity nuisance ear, when they removed my build up, it was a combination of skin, wax, fungus and infection and the Dr managed to get it out in one piece, it was nearly the size of my thumb. While coaxing it out he said you may get very dizzy, he wasn’t kidding, I was so dizzy and it came on so sudden, I couldn’t keep my head up and I started sliding out of the chair. But it was huge!

I had just gotten the mastoidectomy after they found a massive cholesteatoma in the mastoid bones. And they had to do a canal wall down. Right now, I have to go in every three months for cleaning and a follow-up surgery next year to be fitted with a hearing aid device. Definitely everything you described and show in this video, Rhys. Hopefully this patient got a lot of relief from this cleaning and removal and best of luck to everyone.

This was a brilliant removal Mr Rhys , The patient had a good scratching from you , I can imagine that it must have been a very itching ear canal because of the very dry skin and it is also frustrating that you can’t get to it yourself , so you safely did that for him and get rid of it, hopefully he will come to see you sooner. Thanks for charring this wonderful video with us . 👍👏🏼😘🇧🇪

Thanks for another great video, Rhys!! Amazing! I really wish someone around here (northeastern USA) did this kind of ear wax removal; I only have found people that will do water irrigation, which both squicks me out AND often leaves me with water trapped in my ear for a while! 😫 Fabulous job, Rhys!!

My husband has this. The ENT I got for him pulled out so much that first visit! He hadnt visited a doctor in years and was getting infections on top of wax which caused a bad smell if you stood near him. 20+ years later and he's been pretty much infection free except in the last year or two. He even had one of his ear bones removed(under novicaine...he almost passed out from pain) to make the wax removal easier. His ear drum exploded as a kid and a lot of it is detached, along with scar tissue, etc.
