Hi-Rez removing shit ass Toxic Blade for Hastened Fatalis was not something I was expecting but thank god for that. Now I'll never see my teammates first item buy it ever again! Nemean coming back is a bummer but what can you do. For Ring of Hecate: It used to have lifesteal and the current spear of the magus passive before they switched it to the current hex passive, which also used to increase lifesteal by the same percents too once upon a time.

Totally agree that toxic blade needed to go. Since envenomed executioner it just didn't deserve a spot in.... any build I can think of. Old Nemean coming back might be fun (the reflect version, not the abominable block stack version). I thought old ring of Hecate lowered enemy power and raised your own, not increased damage taken (current spear of the magus passive; spear of the magus used to lower protections by a flat amount and before that lowered protections by a flat amount plus a %). Was there another passive that I forgot about?

@@calebowens693 I found an old video with Hecate to double check - It used to increase power and healing gained, not lifesteal, by 5% each up to 15%. It got shifted to or started with (can't remember 100%) the current magus passive but was like 10% increased damage instead. Also yeah not the old magus up to 50 magic protection reduction which was busted af.

When envenomed executioner came out, I really wanted ichaival to return. I really like new gladiator's shield, but missed the old one: having both is going to be nice. Shifter's, ancile, stonecutting, hecate, and all are nice as well... but the return of classic hide of the nemean is so great. The block stack version was a war crime, but the reflect was great (especially when someone likes thorns Kuzenbo as much as I do). Gotta admit, I'm not thrilled by hastened fatalis returning. It was fine for a long time, but when they added pen it became broken and they had to lock it from hunters. That said, I consider this to be a good patch. Lots of nostalgia.

yet another series of buffs for AA characters. If nemian doesnt reflect based on pre miti dmg its kinda just gonna be 15% antiheal which as antiheal is capped at 80% they are gonna still have 5% life steal if they build any minimum. If they dont build lifesteal and have crit however thats fun. Pheonix shield with nemian might be able to trade with a equally skilled hunter and allow you to bully worse players. Im glad they have added some defense items regardless but concerned whether it will surpass the bigger gap the good AA items is gonna make. Ra getting buffs is amazing, some anti assassin capabilities is great with tiny bit more health and dmg on the 2. Frankly I dont see the cooldown on the 3 having any impact. Its already such an insanely hard ability to get even 50% of its usefulness out of outside of hitting an immobile objective slightly reducing the cooldown is nice sure but id rather his key abilities or passive get a buff over such a clunky ability with no clear goal. SMITE isnt stationary so a slow heal with small buffs in a small area doesnt particularly work. That said its great for getting off item effects with a shorter cooldown.

For the rest of Smite 1, us big D warrior solos will take over Smite 1 once again. Smite 1 is actually back. It's healing. Now the only reason to play Smite 2 is for the engine and graphics.

Honestly with Fatalis, isn't that good. The stats are meh, crappy even. Compared to Ichi, it stands no chance. Sure the haste is nice but the value of Ichi is wayyyy better.

Good, they shouldn't be removing items anyway just add new ones don't take away the old. Smite is kinda getting ridiculous right now for items. They should have kept things like golden blade, revert glad shield to when it first came out etc. Why are they fking about with items. Smite has always been it's own thing and unique, but they're pissing about with to much atm. Like smite 2, it feels like they're trying to be like others, when the big lure of it was that it was unique and it's own thing. Don't know wtf they're up to atm. I feel like they'll lose more players than they'll gain doing the shit they are atm. Still love it personally but smite 2 really doesn't feel quite like smite. And again they should just add things and stop taking things out. But hey lol.
