As much as I am happy that you went back to Smite 2 to check it out, I completely understand where you are coming from when you want to focus on Deadlock rather than Smite 2. Hi-rez completely fumbled the ball in it's production, I am mildly optimistic for Smite 2's future but I have a feeling it's gonna be at snail's pace when it the game gets good. Keep doing you Mast.

that’s my thought process. ill check back in a year. statistically smite is dying slowly with smite 2’s release so we’ll see where it’s at within a year. it’s an alpha so it’s salvageable

Fun build: donza intelligence Gem, book of Thoth, bracer of abyss, bragis harp, demonic grip, rod of tahuti, sun beam bow You can solo towers without minions by stepping in and hitting it until a clone spawns. Step out quickly then step back in and keep autoing to keep spawning clones. Not that good at team fighting but excellent dueling if you can land taunt.

I’m here from Deadlock! Smite content isn’t my favorite but I think it’s because I don’t understand it AT ALL. I’m mostly here for Mast ❤ I will say, hearing the talk about the DL numbers being so much higher is more of a testament of how special that game is. I don’t think people realize that with Deadlock we’re in “good ole days”. No skins, battlepass, pay to win, etc. Devs at deadlock really do care and the updates are meaningful and they listen to community feedback!

2:32 honestly it wasn't even the fact that they announced it that killed it, it was making it playable. there was just the standard drop after the start of the season, but when the first alpha weekend happened there was a big drop in smite 1 player count, then when it went 24/7 there was an even bigger drop. i firmly believe that if they had announced it, talked about it, gotten some feedback on things, but only have the playtests when it was in a better state, it would have been fine. but after the first play test a lot of people tried it and didn't like it and decided to wait for it to be in a better state or just left altogether instead of going back to smite 1.

Actually discovered you because of deadlock becoming my obsession, but ironically waay back (im talking closed beta to maybe season 4?) i was a complete SMITE main, completely loved the game watched every pro tournament(still remember how hype the first ever pro penta was from the launch tournament, big ups gamehunter on the big angry baby) and had some pro aspirations myself. I kind of fell out of love with the game through no fault of its own. Went to play other games with friends after religiously playing smite day in day out and by the time i came back to smite i found my skill with the game had depreciated severely, but I still had the game knowledge in my head? It was an incredibly frustrating situation of knowing what i should be doing but it not translating in the moment of gameplay so i just kinda put the game down and never picked it back up. As someone who did play a buunch of herc back in the day though seeing you mash up hades with big rock is very nostalgic. Looking forward to more deadlock tomorrow!

Former smite player who has followed your channel for years, I am also obsessed with Deadlock right now, and besides Smite 2 cooking my computer… Tiamat and Persephone won’t be in the game for a while… so I’ll probably stay away until further game development and polish. Smite 1 was kind of a masterpiece… and Smite 2 is no where close yet if we’re being honest. I enjoy watching both games.

I played smite so many years ago, only for a bit. Never got hooked into it. Never got into many other mobas either until Deadlock. I'm reaaaally addicted to deadlock now. These videos have been fun just to see you playing a different moba other than Deadlock. I don't think I'll play smite 2, but it's fun to watch. I'm pretty surprised at how old Smite 2 looks though... Like, it doesn't look like the 90s, but this is a game that's not even released yet? I assumed that smite 2 would look more fresh haha

Tried smite hated it. Tried deadlock didn't hate it but I have a lot to learn. I like your vibe so I'll watch a few of the smite videos for the hell of it.

I subscribed to the channel because of deadlock but I’ve been enjoying watching you play smite. Since I started playing deadlock I’d been interested in playing moba’s. I tried both dota and league. League I couldn’t get into at all because I was just getting insta-killed in a split second before I could do anything and I never understood what I was doing wrong. I haven’t spent a lot of time in dota but I enjoyed what little I’ve played of it but dota is super overwhelming in its complexity. So I’ll definitely give smite a try
