This legit sums up arachne. A lot of times the enemy team will be forced to group up late game, and wait until me and others jump in, and they all focus on me. I hate when you kill so fast that the entire team is like "group up"

@mast So if your support didn't go Cerberus and was a squishy would you not have picked arachne? I'm still in casual games (lvl 25) so it's like a 50/50 chance I get competent teammates and will usually pick based on what the team needs. I feel like going someone like arachne solo if support went a squishy would make your team weak to an enemy team with say a warrior solo and guardian support.

When you are good enough it doesnt honestly matter in casuals, if you know your lane thats all that mattets. When you get into ranked that becomes more relevent but youll still have team comps with 4 squishies and 1 tank. All depends on your style and if dps is more important than peeling

From my experience my matchups vs Arachne as Fenrir in solo the hard levels are 1-4 when you can out pressure with spiders. The counter play for fenrir is to set up 4 on his passive and brutalize get stunned proceed to get one basic stun and go from there. So far haven't lost to an Arachne solo yet as Fenrir

I'm learning, but I typically go jungle arachne, gold bow, crit sythe and I average of 11 kills. But some games, more so if the enemy team can heal, I'm pretty well screwed. My build souly depends on fast jungle clearing for team buffs and super fast gank ambushes. Late game, i can kill someone in less then a half a second half the time. I'm still learning the game, and I need to figure out what goes wrong when I can't get kills late game. I'm to much of a glass cannon.

I'm a jungle main. I feel that Arachne is in a special place right now in terms of being either an early or later game god. For example. Pele and rat ( Imo) are good early game but super late game they fall off. Mercury and Kali are the opposite. Arachne however. Is a beast from like level 3 till super late game. She's the only jungler who has this range of play. What do you guys think? Btw I've been playing a lot of Arachne recently and I love her.

Arachne main for over 3 years. I agree with you. Arachne can destroy a team if there is no hard cc your going against.

Rat and Pele are two of the best junglers right now and carry SUPER hard early, so I would consider them to be more than good at early-game. You are right though, their late-game is weak (as long as you build anti-heal for Pele.) Arachne seems to be all about match-up and nothing more, either you are going to steamroll, or you're gonna get steamrolled. Her late-game is really good though and mid-game is rather balanced. The only other assassin that I can think of that has comparable mid-game is Bastet.

@@omarpasha79 Just a few examples are Chronos, Pele and Poseidon. (And this is just the jungle role) what makes it hard to be Arachne nowadays is that Golden Blade is almost a must-have for her because of how terrinle her clear is. To have to dedicate an entire item just for clearing is killing her potential. If they gave her AA progression a cleave like Camazotz or Thanatos, she would be in a much better spot. Or maybe a DoT like Da Ji bleed.

Arachne solo in pubs is the move. Ive played her one day and won 4 games in a row solo with her. If I get big enough I don't even build defense really I just build more dog and become a second hung basically. Of course that wouldn't work in ranked at all but for casuals arachne solo is sorta filthy.

I feel Arachne works better as an ability based god oddly enough. Hitting really hard on that initial auto means that your passive kicks in quicker and you just blow people up. My build is typically, Golden Blade > Stone Cutting > Crusher > Heartseeker > Mantle > Runeforged. Also rather tanky then too. Does mean without your abilitties up you struggle though.

Traditional solo lane warriors have pretty high base stats and there's not ever really a need to go lawn mower warrior unless you're meming. It works on Arachne because the items synergize well with her skills. Most warriors don't synergize with that kind of movement/attack speed build IMO.

@@toxicbohemian6813 lol, I see where the misunderstanding comes in after re-reading your original post. Sorry for that. I would think this type of build could still do well against traditional warriors - especially with many of them going into warrior's blessing/glad (or berseker's) shield pretty early on. She can shed those prots pretty easily and sustain through their damage. You see it a lot with jungle arachnes who can get pretty good ganks on traditional warriors out of position with this kind of build. If the warrior is going less prots and more health, you could probably look at getting a Qin's Sai into the build as well.
