Anubis had beads, red was up together with backs(free farm) If he went for the kill he would ve only gotten anubis beads out of it whereas going for farm gave a lead and let him push since anubis had no red.

I just picked isis up, played her when I started playing smite and thought she wasn't good (it was me that wasn't good). But now i learned to position myself better in conquest especially in the mid role and picked her up and she is really actually really good. Maybe you should try her solo Mast with her 3 as a shield she could be decent.
