Now this is the content I've been dying to see. Really nice to hear Matt's own thoughts on these workouts. Looking forward to seeing Fraser's content on the open this year, although I'd imagine the strategy guides will be for the Training program clients only.

This series needs to cover all the games chronologically. It’d be awesome to get his BTS (sorry Sevan) input to the workouts, how he was feeling, what he thought during the workout, strategy, what other athletes were saying about the workout before and after, etc.

A) You haven’t even seen the video yet, so give it a chance B) You’re describing the Fittest films. Would you like me to direct you there?
@chadhamel87073 жыл бұрын
@@MatFraserHWPOTraining A) didn’t mean for it to come off as hate for this vid. Still excited to watch thIs one. Was just throwing out there what I’d find super entertaining as a series at some point. B) those give some insight but meant things like how you analyze the workout as Dave releases it, how you make a plan for it and what might change mid-workout. Just an idea for future content was all

As an analytical person, this ticked my boxes. The difference between good and great - the Eli Mannings and the Tom Bradys - is attention to detail and doing things again until they're what you want. 🐐

I like the analysis. Puts a bit of logic behind your decisions. The first attempt on its own doesn’t appear off until you explain attempt 2. Cool.

On the About page of this channel, it says Mat Fraser is "the only 6 time individual podium finisher." I believe you finished on the podium 7 times as an individual, Mat: 2014-2020. No need to sell yourself short.

Matt what's your thoughts on adding micro lb/kg increments to lifts like this in order to separate yourself from the pack ? i.e. If you went for 381lb or even 380.5lb could that have improved your score even more without adding too much difficulty to the lift to the point where you could fail?
