This is by no means a bad thing, in fact I love finding things influenced by Akira, it just goes to show how beloved and revered the film and manga are. Love it.

So the city it self is a metaphor for her relationship with her boyfriend "Manager" and she destroys the city "relationship" and finds peace, just my opinion

It all makes sense now. "Lovin' You Was Easy" refers to the fame and success Porter Robinson had but ultimately wasn't happy with the type of music people expected him to make. Instead he decided to fuck it all instead of conforming to the mainstream and selling out, and the Worlds album was born. The lyrics "Lovin' You Was Easy" is like a farewell to the fame and rockstar life as the girl in the video rides leaves the uber high tech city life to a much more simpler life that she can really call home and true to herself. The girl's journey in this case is symbolic of Porter Robinson's likewise journey into producing the music he really wanted to create in the first place.

For the people saying she bombed a town- The town wasn't even destroyed, she used an EMP bomb (which is why the lights didn't break into pieces, but slowly turned off. The buildings were left intact.) And her pet was flying around at the end, the EMP doesn't seem to affect life forms. It simply disabled electronics.
