Handled? Jesse isn't a troll he merely exposes inconsistencies or hypocrisy in peoples idiolgy and this young man is clear , consistent and well thought out in his beliefs so he can't be torn apart like so many others and kudos to him. He's not a push over , he doesn't take his positions lightly he stands on them with solid footing , he's not afraid to say he doesn't know or hasn't thought enough about a given subject. In many ways he's a model for younger folks in what critical thinker looks like dispite his methods being somewhat less than refined for lack of better words . I think this young man has a bright future and I hope he takes advantage of the gifts he's been blessed with

@@curtebo You are not your thoughts you are not your past, you are not your body. He didn't make that up, this is deep in Christian thinking tradition. Your cells are dying all the time. You don't remember your past as it really happened, but only a fragmentary narrative based on some key events. What you used to think and believe 10 years ago are not the same things you think now, and all these ideas were created by someone else. The only thing that is there all the time, unchanged, is your soul, all these things, events, and thoughts are external to your soul. Your soul is what you really are. Your soul is capable of good and evil and this is the only true choice there is to make.

@@aaronhelmick7013my question to him is it selfish still if you know the person who passed, didn’t want to die and fought so hard to live. I do agree it’s selfish to mourn, but I felt bad my mom suffered for so long and wanted to live from cancer. It hurt to know she suffered for so long, but I guess in that sense I should be glad she’s at peace? Feels weird to think about it that way.

He was friendly with whites and blacks and all races. He went to graduate student and became a pastor/theologian.
