Matar Pulove | Peas Pulove - Vegetarian
This is a very simple one pot recipe for lunch boxes or for those lazy weekdays. We call this a Lazy Day special because it is so simple to make and you can make it with simple ingredients that are easily available in our pantry.
Matar Pulao tastes great with any veggie curry like kormas, chicken/ meat curry or just a plain cucumber raita as an accompaniment.
This makes it to our lunch box very often, as no messy tiffin with a side of yogurt, pickle and papad.

List of Ingredients
1.5 cups basmati rice
3/4-1 cup peas
1 onion
1 tomato
2 green chillies
Few curry leaves
2 cinnamon stick
10 -12 pepper corns
5-6. Cloves
3 cardamons pods
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt as per taste
Ghee as required
