Mixing alcohols (beer + whiskey per example) isn't bad inherently however the order in which you drink them can cause your body to process them differently and get you drunk either slower or faster. There's no scientific evidence saying that mixing them will definitively cause problems you wouldn't get anyway though.

1:26 I know what Michi is talking about I've done exactly that in safe environments (or at least safe enough that I know I'm not going to get crime'd on) where I say no, they push back on the no, I reaffirm that I said no, but then the reaction I got (and still get) from other people is "wow, how can you be so rude to your grandma" or insert family member but then growing up the times I just said yes to avoid that and then communicated so afterwards they'd hit me with the: "you should have said no then" "But I did it and they kept offering me" "Then be firmer but keep it polite" "That's exactly what I did" [Detailed rant that doesn't matter has been redacted] for a while after as a YA I was stuck in michi's headspace, tho the difference is that the few times I went to clubs and stuff and/or was offered something I wasn't comfortable with the "oh I said no twice idk what to do" would be overwritten by the prospect of getting crime'd on. Nowadays (for years now) I went back to simply being contempt with the way I refuse things, I know I'm being polite about it and when I'm not and if anyone has any complaints (mostly the same people) I tune them out
