Easy to re-colour leather yourself, could be a fun project. I’ve dyed my entire 4 series interior from black to red, cream to black will be much easier

Honestly I’m really happy with it, it took approx 8 coats applying with a sponge, if I did this in the future I’d most likely use a spray gun! Hardest part was taking the seats in the front appart to make sure there was no black spots left over, and being patient!

@@oresthse4668 I can only assume so! I went through several coats where it looked a strange brown colour due to the dark base. Bright red in the end. I assume this wouldn’t be an issue in the cream/white

@@shaun9905 Yeah exactly, he does it himself for his cars, which is impressive, he didn't do years of the job yet he has still come out with cars that are just really good and different. Don't be upset some people want to do stuff themselves, most garages over charge for a shitty job, experience means nothing if they don't give a fuck about your car, if you're doing your own car theres nothing that will stop you. And he's never claimed any of his cars to be factory standard or reliability, he just does it for fun to mod cars to his liking, dont see the problem, its that or the scrapyard for these cars.

I did some work at a Mercedes workshop (evenings, saturdays, holidays) when I was 15 years old. One of the mechanics over there called all the bolds and the nuts he had left over, weight reduction and spare parts. Untill the day that the same Vito arrived on the back of a truck that had left the shop that morning after a engine rebuild. Needed a engine rebuild😅

If the airbag cover is leather, get some acetone and cotton balls and remove as much colour as you can. Then, contact Angelus and get yourself a bottle of their leather dye in the colour of your choice. Apply it in multiple light coats with their applicator on the easy to get areas and a selection of paintbrushes for the not so easy to reach areas. About £25 all in. trick for dash bolts, get a sharpie and number the bolt head and the hole it came out of in order you removed them. Use blue tape to mark the holes so you don't miss one. you can store them by punching holes in a bit or cardboard with a crude sketch and their approx locations. 10/10 dash scores are possible! Super inspiring videos, loving the channel!! keep up the amazing work.

Spray the Airbag with a leather spray, it should be fine I wouldnt expect too much surface wear as it wouldnt be touched much. I was a Tech for office equipment for many years and allways had left over bolts from photocopier rebuilds. Thats how you end up with spare bolts incase you need one. I use to tell myself it was just "Over Engineered" when I had left over bolts as they still ran fine. :) Great job on the video really enjoyed the pace and you dont overdo the boring stuff.

My last 2015 model autobiography had 70k miles when I purchased it, and I sold it with 120k miles and only thing I had to change was the coolant reservoir, brakes, rotors, driver side soft close module went bad, overall, I will always keep a rover in the driveway, best SUVs by far imo.
