In German you can also say to a tailgate (translated word-for-word and then it becomes understandable): Suitcase space lid -> Kofferraumdeckel 😊

They’re so ugly that we’re onto the third generation of humans who want one. As for overrated, even the most basic 911 these days has high 300s horsepower. That’s tasty as a shopping trolley. Get an S and you’re well above Audi RS3 power in a car of similar weight. I love the RS3: having owned two S3s, I’m definitely looking to get one, that or a Mercedes A45S AMG😘 I’ve looked at optioned new ones and you’re getting close to a decent 911, provided you’re prepared to accept a few years of age. Not yet decided. All three choices are mouthwatering. One problem is that strictly, I don’t need a car & secure parking will consume half my workshop.

just a heads up, you shouldn't use your torque wrench to loosen things. Just get yourself a long breaker bar to use to remove them otherwise your going to eventually ruin your torque wrench by using it as a breaker bar and it wont properly torque fasteners anymore it'll be off.

@@MrChielo007 thanks. Glad it didn't come through negative. I was just thinking, maybe he didn't know. I didn't myself until a couple years ago when the actual tool rep was telling me about it and how he's always having guys ask him to send theirs in for recalibration. It's apparently a pain, because it's gotta get sent back to the manufacturer for what would basically be final quality control on the initial assembly, or so he was explaining. Normally, that's something that would have to be done after years of daily "proper" use. Or 6-12 months of abuse 😅. although it should be noted newer nicer ones are pretty robust and can handle Alot of abuse compared to older designs or cheaper models. Would recommend using a breaker bar instead of a torque wrench to remove the wheels in order to preserve the calibration of your torque wrench
@Anders_HeymSR3011 ай бұрын
The centre lock needs some ridiculous torque, IIRC 800 nm so that oversized torque wrench might very well be rated for that
@t.833811 ай бұрын
It’s perfectly fine for torquing the wheel bolts, just don’t use a torque wrench for removing them. As you can see he is over torquing the tool (you can hear the click) which isn’t good for the tool.

May I beg to differ on the actual colour vs. the black wrap cover. The charcoal grey looks dope, man. It rocks. But, hey, you're the man.

992 GT3 prices have dropped significantly. Cheapest one with 12k miles is now selling for £160k. This built cost nearly £140k without labour cost. So i think it is not a good option for other people thinking of buying a wrecked GT3 to rebuild. Congrats on your GT3 and great job gifting your dad a rebuilt Ferrari. it is just beautiful and i hope you will do an update on it.

yeah but thats the cheapest with 8k extra miles and theres a 99% chance it doesnt have all of the add-ons that this one has. its very likely this was worth the money.

It's cost Mat £140k not including labour or bodyshop costs for one that's been recorded crashed. If a clean history one is 135k trade in then this one is around £120k or less.

Just a little heads up. Your not supposed to use the torque wrench attachment for breaking the centerlock loose. It should of come with a solid breaker bar attachment that is used for breaking it loose. It's shorter, but you can put a pipe over it or use a torque multiplier attachment with it. Then you put the torque wrench attachment on to torque it to spec.
