I'm one of those guys whose eyes would glaze over once the conversation drifted over to the topic of cars. Surprisingly though, my last semester in high school, I took an auto shop class, knowing that having a basic understanding of automotive mechanics could come in handy. I was a gangly, awkward A student who played flute in band and hated football games. Can't say I wasn't a little worried about my personal safety. The focus of the class was to tear a V-8 engine down and rebuild it starting with just the engine block. I aced the class because I labeled every part and never missed a day of class. A year later, I found myself using that experience to fix my own 1973 Subaru that needed a top end job. Did everything but for some valve work. Drove the car back from the repair shop, only to find the shop had not replaced a valve guide correctly. Car looked like a Saturn 5 liftoff was occurring when accelerating from a dead stop. Go figure. And here I found myself watching the entire video about the McLaren rebirth. It was like some drama unfolding. And kudos to the dude taking on such a daunting task, not to mention his dad and friends seeing it through, having picked an obscure, high end wreck! Cheers!

I appreciate so much about your videos. Number 1 they are long format videos so you wait till you are finished to put it all together. then get it out. Vs you dropping small bits as you go. As a dad with kids and life and my own projects, to remember to keep checking back or remember when I left off is a hassle and I eventually drop out from watching until it’s complete. But with a long format I can put it on before bed then lose sleep for the next day because I’m along for the ride lmao. If I start it I can’t stop it. Second thing is how you feature so many other KZbinrs and guest like Richard Hammond or however you spell that legends name. Plus you genuinely appreciate them and the people you meet along the way or people that help you, not seeing any hate or jealousy, plus being happy and positive even with such huge setbacks you run into. You just keep pushing and being positive till you guys find a way. Lastly, seeing your dad be such a helping hand along the way. Seeing you both work together laugh, together and overcome things together is amazing. He works so hard for you even transporting the car around, fixing it, problem solving all while he is calm with a smile on his face. What I would give to have more or a relationship like this with my own dad. If I could I would pay millions to buy that time and memories with my pops. I know he’s got to be proud to be able to walk around thinking about how much energy and time he puts in to watch your smile and reactions. I know personally watching my children and working on things with them seeing how happy my daughter gets they are memories that are burned into my brain. My bad for such a long comment everyone and to the OP but I really hope you keep pushing. And growing but also keeping that small KZbinr vibe if that makes sense. 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤝🏼💪🏼🐐🙌🏼🙌🏼 Ps once I really like a KZbin creator and the channel I let all ads play 100# through along with the video don’t skip at all. 🙌🏼🙌🏼👏🏼

Dude you need not ever question your ability at re building cars and making videos on exactly how and what goes into your efforts in doing so , because your absolutely doing what your ment to in life and the fact your not a actual mechanic with credentials or certification in doing super car repairs makes it THAT much more epic, the amount of three hour videos on doing exactly that , that I have watched more than just once without skipping I’m not willing to admit but I will say I find the challenging gamble and your relentlessness seems to be soothing enough that I often fall asleep watching, BUT not because it’s boring.. not at all. All that to say always and forever keep taking on those bigger challenges your a pro rather you think so or not. . . Most people would not be able to do what you are, the average person wouldn’t know where to start, it could also be viewed as if you can do it with no certification, anyone can, but I’d argue that factor , for one most people would not want to let alone enjoy doing this challenging of work even if the end product was the most amazing car possible , it would be almost easier to get a really good paying job and just buy one,,, as NOT easy as it is to afford one of them… your a mad scientist that rebuilds Frankenstein super cars lol but that’s your nitch, gotta say they all look fricken amazing when your done and the upgrades your adding to make them “yours” are also very dope. So don’t kid yourself, so very talented you and your crew are, oh and speaking of crew , don’t be afraid to give your dad a hug now and then. He’s such a valuable part of your team , in the video where you re built his Ferrari and supprised him with it being his… was sooo good, the only thing missing was that hug . lol anyways much love to y’all and all you do, never stop kicking ass ❤❤🎉
