This is correct. Flanker where losing twice as much speed than irl. Flanker FM was a shitshow. People said that gaijin is using T-10 prototype that has totally different design compare to production flanker. Also engine intake are not model causing too much Thrust.. So to regulate that they reduce the Oswald number to increased drag.

Currently the only difference between the SM in the game and the SM3 is SM’s radar. So now it actually makes more sense to add N001VEP+Pero modification (same radar but PESA) and leave it as it is

Don't know about your thoughts about aim120 being tossed at m2.2 at 10000m. I'm pretty sure the dogfight capabilities of the e varient is irrelevant when it can just delete everything else from space. That is unless you feel obligated to engage in dogfights for some reason.

It never carried the r77-1 and isn’t capable irl, same with the su27sm, I’m guessing in the next update or next following one they will add the su30sm or mka/i/m and give it the r77-1 as it is capable of using it irl, no jet in game can carry it so that’s really the only option in the future

to be fair dude. Flankers have good close range missiles (which were a bit fixed from spinning out) and it's ARH missiles are ok at close combat too while AIM 120 became reliably defeatable. so tuning Flankers still requires some caution

@ the current P&W F100-PW-220 engines on the F-15C have less thrust than their -100 cousins on the F-15A. The issue is that the way they were designed they did have slightly less installed thrust when at 0 knots. The problem is that the engines had “very slightly lower than the static thrust of the -100/200, but the -220 has better dynamic thrust across most of the envelope.” This has resulted in the F-15C experiencing low performance compared to the F-15A, going from 64,000fpm climb rate, to only 55,000. There are sources stating that with 3 pylons the F-15C had an instantaneous climb rate of 67,000fpm. I have made bug reports on this, and they have ignored them entirely.

Well I was compering su 33 i wt and in dcs yesterday and as i thought in WT su is much better in terms of flying than in dcs. In case of taking of from carrier, its almost idendical, but i dont know how it go in WT with full load. Turning is other world. In DCS i usually after one sharp turn on mach 1 i end with speed 500-600km/h and second turn push me to 300km/h. Id like to do more test but i dont have SU33 on my account in WT

The Su-27SM2 isn’t a thing and the Su-27SM2 never got Irbis Radar, please use your internet access more wisely and actually deep dive into the Flankers history with proper sources so that way you’re not lying to your community. Hearing you say Su-27SM2 made my brain hurt and hearing that that Su-27SM2 had Irbis almost made me have worse words for this comment, please do your research before you make your videos. For slight clarification, this Su-27SM in game basically the SM2 and SM3 without the N001VP radar, as the SM was basically brought to Serial Modernization 2 basis with the AL-31FM1 engines but due to cancellation of other upgrades, from the ground up the program moved onto Serial Modernization 3 batch which is the Su-27SM3 which received the AL-31FM1 and the N001VP radar to launch with the R-77-1, all in new frames; full stop. Many sources confused the Su-27SM2 program as a reality cause the SM2 program was a PROPOSAL, and the mix between the Su-27M or M2 or better known as the Su-37, cause confusion and the established belief that the Su-27SM2 was getting Ibris, you will literally see in every article or even wiki about Su-27SM2 that there are no backed primary sources. The Su-27SM2 is basically an idea, the only Flankers to receive Irbis would be the Su-30SM2 or Su-35.

It’s not irl, the r77 has a ton of drag and not a lot of range, that’s why they made the r77-1 which has roughly the same range (maybe slightly less) compared to the aim 120c-5 which both have a claimed 110-120km of range, or about 68-74mi of range, the amraam still has a lot less drag and better energy, but both will be almost the same missile

The biggest bruh US main moment. Buddy, the f15e has 14.3 14.7 performance in game rn. But it is where it is. The only reason it is lower, is the absolute brain damage that most US top tier, Top Gun wannabes have. As a person who plays most nations, US teams are the worst by far. And being crap while slinging aim120 in an f15e, is literally no-one else's fault but you. Red teams can do nothing to you in bvr. You don't even have to notch them. R77s will quite literally never hit in true bvr. All while f15s absolutely clowning on both mig 29 and Su-27 in close range, with a pilot with higher than luke warm IQ.
