This video has helped my set up hands down for years i have used stonfo connectors and when time came to change to Dacron i found everything about it confusing to attaching a dacron to then doing the loop to connect to it. I have watched the pros explain and couldn't do it untill i seen the videos you have put out and never looked back i can now say i have fully dacron st up topkits and can loop the rig over the dacron with complete ease thanks to your easy straight forward approach. Need to make a bigger loop and make a 2nd loop in it then cut the end off. You cant remove your version without a pin etc. Other style you just pull on the tag end

Thanks for your feedback. I've never had many problems myself using this method except heavily used rigs, maybe line diameters make a difference? I generally use 0.17 - 0.19. I have seen the method that you mentioned just not something that I've used myself personally. Thanks for watching 🎣🎣🎣🎣🎣

Every angler will have their own personal preference on which connector is best and why. I personally favour using a Dacron as I believe there are more pros than cons compared with the stonfo connectors. There are some good online forums which have more detailed answers though that may be helpful to better understand the reasons behind it. Using something you are confident and comfortable in though is important so that you can focus on the Fishing 🎣🎣
