I used to throw stones into the Calder in the 70s and the splash back was multi coloured ! ...it seems amazing now 40 year's later ! it's full of fish and wildlife.

Hi Tom, I would go for the 13 or 15ft Superteam match. For most my waggler fishing on smaller rivers like the Avon I like a 13ft rod. In deeper pegs a longer 15ft rod can help, also when fishing a stick float / bolo as it helps float control further out.

Great video again. I'm looking for a Shakespeare mach 3 rod for stick float fishing, I see there is xt and a light version aswell as the standard mach 3. Also several different lengths. Which one would you recommend for near side to half way over on the Avon fishing for roach and bonus Chub? Many thanks.

Hi I recently bought your Shakespeare sigma commercial float rod and I was wandering with 6lb mainline and 5lb hook to nylon hook link would I be able to catch a 10lb carp with it and what would be the biggest carp I could catch on it. Many thanks
