The No 9 is bang on for F1 fishing with fish in the 1 to 3lb bracket and copes with the odd bonus rogue carp. Been very impressed.

Great idea the short sessions! I like that white 13 too - I've only used it once but found it powered up nicely to net 4lb'ers with pads in the margins, but was soft enough that I wasn't losing 10oz fish on it. Can't wait to get out and give it another go - and maybe give the 15 a workout too.

Best all round elastic I've used 13 Dura.. soft on the strike so never bump silvers and easily capable of landing a double

Nufish zipp just as good as Preston laccy and cheaper too .

i couldn't do a short session like that i whould have to stay longer no matter how cold it was, still i use four different sizes of slik elastics, not that it matters to your fishing coz your a match fisherman and need to be more refined in what your doing, still nicely done again rikki, and looks a nice place to fish aswell thankyou keep them coming

Have you tired the nufish zipp elastic at all?. Been using since September and had some right lumps on the 14-16.....16-18 brilliant when in a snaggy peg.

Just getting back into fishing , I’ve seen other vids saying to stretch elastic before putting into top 2 but it’s pretty vague , could you give us your take on this please ?

A simple way to do it is just hold the elastic in your fingers and wrap it around your hand as you are pulling it out the end of your pole until you feel it tightening up and not stretching anymore. That should do the trick. Its not as important as some people make out though and its just as easy to just wait until youre fishing and let the fish do it for you ;-)
