All these decades since I watched this show when it originally aired I NEVER understood why Brett Somers was even on the show, let alone made a regular. The damn broad just couldn't keep her yap shut. She thought she was oh so clever and witty when in fact she was a rude, loudmouthed bore. No wonder Jack couldn't live with her. And that's really saying something given Jack was a loud guy. At least he wasn't a bore.
