Heads up, we're in for a CRAAAAZY WEEK! Heading down the avenues and alleyways of Match Game for the first time is actor Robert Vaughn. Previous credits include The Magnificent Seven, The Lieutenant, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. and Bullitt. At the time of this recording Vaughn was starring in the British action-thriller series The Protectors (although he later said he had poor relationships with the show creator Gerry Anderson and chief backer Lew Grade). Vaughn later appeared in The Towering Inferno, Superman III and a couple of episodes of Columbo. In later life Vaughn would become one of the main cast members of the BBC crime drama Hustle and appear in the long-running British soap opera Coronation Street. Vaughn died of leukemia in November 2016 at the age of 83. His short time on the show (two weeks - his second was in January 1975) was rather uneventful and he seemed rather bemused by the proceedings, especially at McLean Stevenson's antics. Next up is Nancy Dussault, actress and singer, veteran of Broadway & off-Broadway and Tony Award nominee. She'd performed as Maria in The Sound of Music and in Do Re Mi alongside Phil Silvers (for which she earned the aforementioned Tony nod). At the time she was a regular, alongside Richard Dawson, on The New Dick Van Dyke Show. She would later become an early anchor of ABC's Good Morning America and star in the sitcom Too Close for Comfort. This was Dussault's only week on the show but enjoyed her brief visit. McLean Stevenson's back for a second week, and he's just insanely funny throughout! I won't spoil any of his antics here, just watch for yourself then do what is known in internet slang as ROFL. Seventh week for Betty White. As of February 2018, she and Dussault are still with us. On a technical note - the contestants' microphones have been replaced with Sony ECM-51 telescopic wand microphones. There'll soon be a third...
