Fannie Flagg was about to beat Pat Harrington's ass for grabbing Brett. 07:30 - 08:20. They show Fanny getting up about to kick Pat Harrington's ass. Even Gene had run up to the top level to save Brett. You can see the white mark on Brett's face from Pat's hand grabbing her so tightly when he attacked her.

She actually didn't start writing until late or after Match Game because a viewer who was a teacher noticed that she was spelling words wrong and might be dyslexic . After she had it checked out then is when she started writing.

I've not seen a comment about the very last match of each round where it's one on one celeb and contestant. I believe the best chance of a match is choosing a celebrity of your same gender and close in age, because of the 'similar lived experience'. All these young girls choosing Richard when he's English and a good bit older than them so his ideas of an answer are far from theirs. Any thoughts?

I think that many times the obviousness of the most likely response to a question renders differences in age and gender to be negligible. Richard had lived and worked in the U.S. for so long by 1974 I'm sure he was familiar with most of its idioms.
