Today Jo Ann scored her 6th head-to-head match! (She's only the fourth celeb to reach 6.) She's now tied with Charles! Here's the updated accuracy leader board for the 7 celebs to have scored 3 or more matches so far: Orson - 100% (3 wins in 3 attempts). Betty - 50% (8 wins in 16 attempts). *TIE Charles - 42.9% (6 wins in 14 attempts). *TIE Jo Ann - 42.9% (6 out of 14 attempts). Bert - 33.3% (5 wins in 15 attempts). Richard - 28.9% (22 wins in 76 attempts). Brett - 22.2% (4 wins in 18 attempts). *These stats include every head-to-head match from episode 1 through 199, excluding the lost/missing episodes 31, 32, 33.

Charles Nelson Reilly was at the Hartford Circus Fire on July 6, 1944, I'm surprised he didn't have a problem rattling off that name. It affected him deeply.

@@Drchainsaw77According to Wikipedia there were between 6,000 and 8,000 people in attendance and 167 people died. Most people who were there survived the tragedy, so it's plausible that person's mother would have been among the many survivors. Not a guarantee that she would have died had she been there, but a frightening possibility. It had to be a horrific thing to experience and live through.

Jo Ann was on a good streak! Usually it's Richard Dawson that had the most matches.
@kristabrewer67362 жыл бұрын
um nooooooooooo I don't THINK so! It was RICHARD who lost most of those matches (do you even WATCH this show)?

Jo Ann was beautiful and smart. Also Donna was one of the few to understand that the supermatch was best with someone of same gender and similar age
@Echognomics101 Жыл бұрын
@@kristabrewer6736Adding up the totals of Betty, Charles, Jo Ann, Bert, and Brett they had 29 wins in 77 attempts, or 37.66% rate of matches. Richard's 22 victories in 76 attempts (28.94%) is fairly consistent with that winning percentage, a difference of only -8.72%. Richard lost 54 times, Betty/Charles/Jo Ann/Bert/Brett lost 48 times in basically the same number of tries. Typically you could expect the contestants to make the head to head match roughly once in every three tries regardless of who they picked. It was meant to be hard to win. Back then $5,000 could buy a winning contestant a brand new 1974 Ford Mustang (approx $3500). That was a lot of money to give away. You'd go broke if the contestants always won 2500 or 5K.

Jo Ann needed to listen to the song "Tell Laura I Love Her" more closely. It had nothing to do with prison or the electric chair. The singer had wrecked his race car at the track, and knew that he was dying. That's why he kept saying, "Tell Laura I Love Her."

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Masak Ron Masak - During the 1970s, this guy was all over the place...just never in one spot for very long. I can't figure it out. A decent looking guy, an ok actor. But..."commercial voice-over guy" was the best he could do by the 1980s.
