Having discovered these posts I've been watching since the first one and the contestants and celebrities feel like friends (I'm not nuts) and I look forward to visiting with them every day. This is for all of the fans of the TV show The Waltons. What are the odds that on the same day that Richard read that "fan letter"(whether or not that was a real letter is another story,) and that it was signed as the last name Walton, and later the next contestant that came around is named Judy Norton. Judy Norton played Mary Ellen on The Waltons. Anybody else catch that?

This letter echoed what we ALL think/feel,although calling Match Game "just" a gameshow is such a misrepresentation as it it SO much more,it's a comedy, drama,thriller...there has(&I doubt there EVER will be) nothing on air in past,present or future that will EVER (excess the pun🤣) "Match" it!!

@@annapuan Hey there. Yeah I definitely remember when she was on the show. I mean they’re faint memories but yeah. My mom did a lot of game shows. She was on Password and won, my parents were on the Newlywed Game and won. We’re from LA so all of the shows were filmed here back then, so she could audition easy. Sure she talks about it from time to time now. She doesn’t think she played very well on this particular show she was kind of disappointed in herself. She knows these videos are out there she’s found them. She showed me this one actually. I didn’t find it. And she pretty much looks exactly the same. My mom is actually pretty amazing she doesn’t age.

15:52 Spoilers before the internet. Jaws had only been in theaters 8 days prior to the date of the taping, and aired 1 month later, so I suppose it didn't do TOO much damage? I read some comments on the trailer saying it was quite the event when it was released (I wasn't born yet), so perhaps even 8 days was already enough that everyone and their mama already saw it?

Oh, yeah, it was a very big deal, with tons of promotion before release. In fact, _Jaws_ was the very first "summer blockbuster" movie, starting that whole phenomenon. So it was not really much of a spoiler to be mentioned in a show that aired a month later.
