Unbelievable, no score after TWO rounds, even the tie break questions

The guests are always fun, Gene is the perfect host to use adult humor without crossing the line. The only "problem" was the questions difficulty rating varied so much.I just felt bad at times when a contestant lost only because an answer was so hard to match. Awesome show. You can't duplicate the innocence of it ever.

Wow, four living panelists in this episode! Also, according to Wikipedia, Marcia Rodd guest-starred in a sixth season MASH episode with Gary (Temporary Duty).

12/29/2022 - Now we're down to just two. Gary Burghoff and Marcia Rodd.

I believe this is the first time since Match Game PM's first few shows that they didn't use the same celebrity panel for both the weekday episodes and the nighttime episode for that week. The weekday episodes featured Gary Burghoff, BS, Jimmie Walker, (filling in for CNR for two days, because his plane was late. And he was off the previous week.). Susan Howard, RD, and Fannie Flagg. The nighttime syndicated show featured Edward Asner, BS, GB, (filling in for CNR, who obviously wasn't back yet), Marcia Rodd, not SH, RD, and Betty White, not FF. 🤔🤔

This nighttime panel matches the daytime panel for Feb. 4-6, 9-10. The next PM episode was from the week with Feb. 11-13, 16-17 with GB, BS, CNR (Jimmie Walker was in for the first two days of the week), Susan Howard, RD, & FF. The panels match as the others do.

He's from the 30s. That is probably why. I read books about him and I've seen a picture about him. Great athlete, but it's terrible what society did to him. Racism is so very ugly.

David Weber I’m only through the half-way point. Where is the racism?
@MrYTGuy14 жыл бұрын
@@jamesweigh3178 I'm not sure. Having watched the show for many years I'm personally surprised at how progressive this show is even by today's standards. And yet it's not accomplished by virtue of avoiding the subject of race completely. They aren't really afraid to mention or joke about race. Which they have the opportunity to do quite often because they have had lots of black guest celebrities over the years. And the show has no shortage of women either. It's most likely due to the population of minorities specifically in that area in the 70s that we don't see even more diversity on the show.
@CousinOresama2 жыл бұрын
@@jamesweigh3178 He's probably referring to the fake Chinese accent. I don't consider it racist, but some do. On the other hand, though I think it's OK to do it once, sometimes I can't understand the accent and wish that other readings, or at least the one to the contestant, be read without the accent.
