Match KEY to CYLINDER under 5mins on VW T4

A quick video I did on my phone on how to make your key match to your locks. Same procedure is used for sliding door and rear door, although the locking mechanisms take a bit longer to remove from the doors, the locking barrells are the same.

Each brass piece used to have a number on it so copy the number code of an existing working barrel

@@ryanpsims73 Actually, I think you have to pull that one (cant remeber which door was which). But on one door you cant knock the pin out, you have to pull it out. With a wrench or something

What do you suggest if the pin won't come out with a good hit of the hammer

@@ORIGINAL4D Are you using only a hammer? I used a set of "drift pins" to get it out. Specifically this set: www.biltema.se/verktyg/handverktyg/drivdorn/drivdorn-2-8-mm-2000024016 I think the one matching the pin had a diameter of 2mm. But I started off using a "stitching awl" which had a more conic shape. This subsequently broke the material surrounding the pin when I struck it too hard. So I had to buy a new/used door handle. But then I used the drift pins above, together with some lubricant/rust removal. This worked for me! And I had a pretty rusted up VW from 93.
