First of all, I'm sorry to be the 'Grammar Police'; but WHEELS, wish I could send this to you in a private message; but I've heard you make this mistake a few times before & it kind of drives me crazy, especially for someone who sometimes calls matches on national TV: You said "so there IS some talented players" & it's plural, so you should have said "so there ARE some talented players". My 2nd comment is that my biggest worry earlier this week was that the forecast for Suriname showed rain & thunderstorms all week long. Now fortunately it shows a dry Thursday & only a bit of rain on Friday afternoon. I originally had visions of your typical CONCACAF away game, being played in hot humid weather, while it would be pouring rain, with a terrible pitch. It's Great to see that the forecast has improved a lot & the team will be playing in a 28 C temperature & the pitch should hardly be wet at all, which normally favours the better more skilled team, which in this case is Canada.

Yes Canada is the favourite, but canadian media make it seem like it will be a walk in the park. That is not the case! Especially in Paramaribo we can get a good result. I do feel in Canada we won’t get a result, but my prediction today is 1-1 or 2-1 Suriname.

It's certainly possible, but not at all likely. It would be a big upset, but not shocking. Similar to Canada beating Argentina. No excuses if we lose. Canada is not 1 or 2 players any more.

Canada won most of the Qualifier matches in 2022 without Davies when he was injured. Canada ended up #1, beating the U.S. & Mexico without Davies. With respect, Canada should win this match vs Suriname; but you never know on the road in CONCACAF.
