Feel for him here. He's got players that are on low wages, coming to the end of their careers, without much talent making up the numbers after the club nearly going out of business!!! I'm not surprised we aint breaking pots in this league.4th from bottom will still do me thank you & start building next season. Bringing in a new manager won't turn these players into world cup winners. We can't string two passes together at the bloody moment!!!!

@@thewhinjaninja3610 we ain't a passy team,, we've lost the most effective midfielders in Adams and Ozoh, not to mention Nyambe and Cashin in defence,, those 4 players are what we are about, physicality and athleticism,, you can't lose your core starters like that and be effective at your game. You can see the squad players coming in as replacements aren't good enough.

It's always going to be tough without Cash and Adams. We looked knackered and struggled. Elder was very good. Apart from that, it was a worrying performance. Need signings.

This was always going to be a struggle to be mid table and stay up and we are just in the process of strengthening up the squad and hopefully allowing our first division players to move to other teams. Positive news…he’s hoping to have new faces in within next league game, so obviously got deals in the pipeline…with injuries recently it’s been very evident we’re missing about 3/4 players plus injured players back…..let’s hope Al Hamidi & Harvey Knibbs are 2 of them😊

Respect to Paul for coming out and giving such a constructive interview. City spent the game trying to get a free kick in a certain place, Twine dived and got it. Other than that BC offered very little; a bit like their fans. A suggestion for Bristol would be a ground swap with Rovers as that one is clearly too big for you.

Didn't stretch Bristol City at all. They won way too easily and it isn't lack of effort - it's lack of quality. Fresh from gifting Sheffield Wednesday most (all?) of their goals, we gave one to Bristol who'd done nothing and then could take the rest of the afternoon off.

Even if we dropped into L1 I'd stick with Warne,, bloke knows his way around that league and to be honest in it's no big deal it's a fun league to be in personally,, I still however think we will do enough to stay up.

But Derby didn't pull up any trees in Div 1 either. They still put in many poor performances and without Adams they would not have gotten promotion. Also, I bet Rotherham wish they dropped him before he got them relegated multiple times. Derby will go the same way. The guy in the Championship is fudging his way through and it will go the same way as every other time.

@@thewhinjaninja3610 but we had Adams and won promotion,, and we'd do it again eventually anyway,, big fish in a small pond down there, wouldn't necessarily go up first time but we'd do it eventually so shouldn't panic. I still think we've got enough to stay up,, once Nyambe, Cashin and Adams are back we'll be fine. Throw in Ozoh and we've got our strongest midfield back.

Adams, Cashin, Ozoh, Nyambe. We miss each. Four star players out, some of the team always cannot play two games in a week (Osborne, Elder, Goudmijn), past it players buffing the squad out. The player recruitment needs to improve. We seem to end up doing business at the end of the transfer windows instead of making good signings early on. A lack of funds seems to be the issue.

It was always going to be hard to stay in the Championship given the players we came up with and the lack of any real investment? I think, if anything, we’ve over performed and maybe have more points than expected but I suspect the promotion honeymoon period is over? We’re a tired squad and injuries have a big impact, plus other teams have worked out our lack of threat. It’s going to be a hard slog to the end of the season, and I’d take 21st in the league

The best man for Division 1, but the worst man for the Championship. Warnes's Championship record is 20% win and 50% loss with an absolutely garbage away record. Let's be honest. Derby didn't pull up any trees in Division 1 under him either, and yet people think he's the one to keep you in the Championship. How many games in Division 1 were also poor performances under him?

These “good” performances of recent are meaningless without results. We’re simply not getting them but nearly all of the other teams around us are. Something has to change or we’re going down.
