Thanks for this Vid - great stuff. I come out of northern CA and have never fished the Owyhee. Thinking of heading up first week of August. Do you think that is a good time to be on the river? Thanks again!

August is generally good, has been a tougher year out there with uncommon high water but the water levels are starting to approach a more normal level now.

I swear my computer is spying on me... was talking w/ friend last night about fishing the over-fished Owhyee and then today this shows up on my suggestions... Nice video and good fishing for that spot!

Haha weird how that happens! The Owhyee is crazy with people but also still some good fishing to be had!

The tailwater section below the damn of the reservoir is extremely popular and very crowded but a heck of a fishery!

I love the Owyhee but theres too many god damn people. You hit it on the weekend and your lucky if you can stand in 1 hole all day because your not going to get another

It really is the most crowded little stretch of river, still fun though!

Well done narrative you guys. My only criticism is that you seemed to be lifting a little to quick for my intuition. I had a well known local fly fishing celeb walk up behind me after hearing me cuss and swear on missing fish there on a similar pool a few years back. Guess what he told me?....slow down.
