Nice Resto to an old girl in need of some love. And you did it right by not paint the underneath fully. Cheer's Tassie John

Nicely done Zach, takes a steady hand for the details, imagine trying to do it on an assembly line. With time constraints.

I think about this often when doing the paint details. I have the utmost admiration for the Lesney Ladies.

As a user of CitruStrip we find it helpful to just brush a layer onto it and let it sit in an enclosed dish to let air aid in the chemical process. Seems to work better for us than dunking.

We all have our favourites and the trucks are mine ! You mentioned the Nestle models you have restored in the past . I worked for Nestle as a lorry driver ,and at that time the ERF trucks was the truck of choice for the company .

That's so cool! I've done a couple of them, one original and one custom. It's a favorite model because of the working sliding door.

I had that one,as a kid, and gave it to a collector. I didn't see any number on it though. I think it said Lesney England in the cavity. How do you know the number, just asking.

I use the Stannard guide to identify most models, it uses lots of different identifying characteristics on a model to assign a code identity.
