cute little casting. :) here in germany I think two, maybe three cities still use trolley buses. one of it is Esslingen am Neckar, a city next to my place. they use the trolleys to reach places high up on the hills made by the deep valley of the Neckar River, to save on diesel fuel I think. the buses are still modern constructions, so I guess this will last a while. :)

I never had one of these, just the routemaster and it's flat-fronted cousin. I can just about remember being on Glasgow trolleybuses; they finished when I was about five, so it must be a very early memory.😁
