Excellent video, Nick, but you're 'seven and a half second fall' rate for meat isn't quite accurate. I tested fall rates a few years back, and found it depended on which brand you used. I wrote down the results, but lost them ages back, so can't pass on the details. Hope you don't mind the comment!

Excellent video, as usual, Nick. However, can I dare criticise your comment on the rate meat falls? (a foot or so each second). I've tested different makes of meat, (cos' I'm anal), and they do fall at different rates. I'd put the results here, but I've managed to mislay the notes.

Has fishing really come to this? What happened to the enjoyment of going fishing and catching a few fish on a summers day. Any youngsters watching this or anyone in fact thinking about starting fishing please don’t think it has to be this complicated. These are match fishing tactics for the serious or professional match angler.
