Always really enjoy watching the Rikki Richards matches - can you tell me what Daiwa rod you were using? It had a really nice action with almost no tip wobble on casting (it’s probably more than I want to spend but would be good to know) 👍 Be good to see another RR video on the canal btw - remember watching your last one on caster fishing and it was really good 👍

Another great video Rikki, it's nice to see you in a live match situation and hear your thoughts as you are fishing, well done on getting a nice bag considering the conditions, a question or two tho, why do they peg it so someone is casting straight in front of you, and 2 do you have a set distance in your mind or have a cast round looking for any features and then measure it? to be honest mate the guy to my left shouldn't of been casting infront of me but i couldn't be bothered to have a moan about it. I would normally cast around and have a look at depths mainly but i knew this peg has a flat bottom from 5m out to 40m so it was just a matter of choosing the distance i wanted to cast. hope that help buddy.

I presume you can feed with a pole pot/cup while fishing the rod at the same time at Bonehill. ??some places don't allow it
