This episode is a lot of fun. Gene loses his tie and goes with the scarf during today's show. We also meet "Old Friend" Janet Finn who was the leading money winner for a contestant on Match Game 74. Carol and Janet are ironically neighbors!!

H/H match update: ... Our returning champion matched first with Richard, and then Brett, and now for her third go at the big money, she's back to Richard. (Maybe it's that dark blue tennis racquet sweater that he's been wearing a lot the past month or so?) He's now played 19 of the past 22 H/H matches... Today's question: "Wheat ________" My first thought was Wheat Thins. (They've been around since 1947.) Richard took a bit more time than he usually does and seemed to discard his first answer. The contestant said wheat germ and the camera caught Richard's typical poker face. Atypical was how he didn't draw out the suspense, instead pulling his winning card out right away... ... and Richard earns his 122nd H/H match. If you search Janet Finn from Orange County, you will see this sweet lady died in 2015. They had a current pic in her obit, and she is older but with the same sweet face. her guest book is still open for comments. It would be nice to leave a comment to her family about how much we enjoyed seeing her.
