I presently have a Thompson Centre Encore 50 cal muzzle loader that is approx 6 yrs old. I shoot 209 Blackhorn powder and CCI primers. I would like to get away from my Hornady sabots. What size of arrowhead bullets would I require to use in my 50 cal to get away from the plastic sabot?

Arrowhead projectiles are for 45 cal muzzle loaders, you would need to get a different barrel

Harvester Sabot much better fit and accuracy. Try them - much improved over what comes with the factory bullets!

Sabot bullets struggle with consistent groups or accuracy. the best option is bullets sized to bore

I shoot consistently at 200 yards with Barnes 250 grain T-EZ’s with Harvester crush rib sabots, Blackhorn 209 and Federal 209 primers out of my Encore Endeavor.

Seriously think about it. No matter where the bullet is seated the breach plug will hold and the pressure will go the least resistant direction. All firearms are essentially pipe bombs. Ive tested this numerous times. Ive even only seated the bullet a few inches from the crown. No dramatic explosions. All it will do is effect your accuracy.

The stock is the rear portion and yes they are compatible. The Forearm that goes under the barrel is specific to the ML

I have this exact set up. Just wondering what should I have the bolt that holds the stock to the frame torque be set at. If it’s to tight the hammer will not come back and set the trigger. IS THERE A SPECFIC TORC ON THAT BOLT I SHOULD BE USING?
