I know this is a year late, but got to start somewhere haha. I work in Aerospace, and some things we have to perform insulation resistance tests, and I have been shocked with 2200volts. Hurts like a mother, but super low amp for that test. If anything, it is the current that gets you.

Those square connectors are used in the car audio industry, they crip wire ferros on stranded wire, it keeps the wire from fraying at a screw clamp connector, like you would see on an amplifier, also use them for connecting the power leads to an inverter with screw clamps.

I’ve had to unpin a hand full of 70 pin Connector and I definitely prefer the plastic removal tool, I just made sure to use good one that aren’t chip on the ends and you Alcohol for lube. Works great every time

had me at the coca cola box oil. We were using 55gal drums for bulk oil with a hand pump, and the pitcher that was metal with a flex spout on the bottom with a thumb release that only held 4 quarts and at the time all the cars held 5 quarts. the 70's and 80's were so much fun lol.

As an Electrician with 22 years in the trade I can absolutely say you never become immune to getting shocked. 120v is the worst if that neutral has a load on it, it's going to grab ahold of you and not want to let go. Please be careful when doing electrical at your home just kill the damn circuit it's not worth it👍🏽

I don't know about the Toyotas but most of them are 305 volts DC so if the battery has 305 volts at 0.5 ohms your ass is looking at a battery that has 610 amps and being DC Toyota is correct it will cook you from the inside out

Yep. What Michael said about Toyota and getting connectors is literally Honda. Even a positive battery terminal. You have to order a harness. Super frustrating, especially on these MOST networks of the newer (18+) Odyseys, pilots, Ridgeline and passports

I was working on my buddy's Datsun 280z with a Holly Dominatior and I was checking for spark coming from the wires I held my screwdriver just above it and accidentally touched the fender with my belt and since it was a drift car and already more banged up than Mia Khalifa I didn't care about my belt against the fender and anyway when he turned it over I got hit with 60k volts my one friend said my feet let off the ground lol

I just got the NAPA funnel kit, hot it works good for other things than automotive. I own that plier rack, only complaint is that the slots are narrow on the right side and wide on the left. Those terminal crimpers are for the barrel Deustch connector terminals you can get non barrel like Cummins uses but they are not as secure of a crimp as the barrel type and yes Cat uses plastic because the metal ones damage the plug or connectors terminal locking jaws so plastic is safer to remove for reuse.
