I use this combo since june of 2019, but without Matek logo and additional PCBs. Here's the link: www.banggood.com/1_2G-8CH-700mW-AV-Analogue-Siginal-Transmission-FPV-System-Transmitter-Receiver-Combo-p-1272467.html VTX is called SM130T, VRX is SM137R, both from ShenZhen Sunflytek company. Link to manufacturer's page: www.sunflytek.cn/plus/list.php?tid=43 All Matek did is just put VTX and VRX on their own PCBs which include BECs, buttons, etc.

What's nice about this transmitters is their cost. It's only 8$ if you buy 10 pcs at once directly from the manufacturer (sunflytek.en.alibaba.com) As regards range, I easily got 30 km with nice and clean image using 4-element Yagi on RX side.

This is great, Now all we need is someone to make a diversity vrx for 1.2ghz
@localvic5 жыл бұрын
There are instructions somewhere online on how to make a Diversity 1.2Ghz Vrx switcher module. I found that It lowers video quality slightly but with less drop outs, Its kind of a big setup compared to 5.8ghz. I personally only use 1.2ghz diversity on a more dedicated ground station.
@alasdair41615 жыл бұрын
It will be great to have goggle freedom for my 1.3 planes, plus I like the extra insurance, as even with a groundstation things can go wrong. I just hope they assign 1258mHz as one of the frequencies, and it has good front end selectivity and sensitivity.
@windrider235 жыл бұрын
If Matek wants this system to sell it must work with Crossfire. Normally we run 1.3ghz receivers on ground stations. This is to get the 1.3ghz receiver away from the 900mhz transmitter. The old Nextwave 1.3ghz goggle receiver got noise from 900mhz transmitters over 250mw.

Great, I use 1280mhz all the time, way better than 5.8g....Works alongside the 868mhz R9MM reciever and of course UHF too...Your video frequency should always be higher than your control frequency...but not dividable by it...So, 2.4G control is not a good idea.

Hi Pawel, thanks for the review! How is it about Crossfire (868 / 915MHz) with this receiver? Is it also affected by the problem, that there is no proper input filter, and the Crossfire TX makes it level down the input amp? Till now all the RX are affected by this problem, I hope there will be a solution soon?
@2kcheetah5 жыл бұрын
Crossfire can interfere with 1.2G. just run a notch filter. So many available like TBS.
@FPVZaphod5 жыл бұрын
Ward Paterson The prob is the VRx, not the crossfire. I know about Notch Filters, and that they don’t completely solve the issue. That‘s why I asked, with a narrow band pre-amp in the RX, a Notch wouldn’t be required - only this would fix the real cause of the problem..

AliExpress has some but they have the blue logo and are not the FSV2443 model that fixed the bugs.. They won't take the place of a good ground station receiving setup, but are really handy if you want do some longer distance flying (especially in the winter time) and don't want to mess with setting up ground station. Thanks Pawel. Looking forward to your test results. In the U.S. there are just two channels that we can use legally... 1.258Ghz and 1.280Ghz so hopefully they'll make a U.S. version of the vtx.

You can't just simply change the wavelength of a 1.2 signal over the air. And even if you could, you would lose all the benefits of the higher penetration of 1.2. Plus it would be unnecessarily complex on the receiving end and introduce extra delay.
