You're so right about the Pinkie Pie thing, I paused to go look and was very shocked it wasn't her. It's absolutely uncanny. I have a similar outlet story, I had to be 6 or younger and (it must've been me but I don't remember it) someone had jammed a pair of tweezers in an outlet. And I, idiot child, reached out and tried to tug them out. Some part of my tiny brain remembered this was a Bad Idea and let go like the moment before it made some kind of loud sound. My dad was like, watching me as I did this so it all happened too fast for him to react. I just remember us staring at each other, him in horror, me in fear, not of getting shocked, the 'oh no I'm in trouble' fear. He could not believe I was fine. "Soul erosion is a real issue" sounds like something you hear at a church or something lmao.

@@dottohgregarson sephiroth is not directly controllable in the original game but he does appear as a temporary party member in combat during a single mission, so it was literally almost entirely predictable that he would be controllable or at the very least able to use abilities and such in the remake version of that same section, which is what i was referring to. because of course they would want to up the ante and do something cool for the fans. plus, the only reason i said it so blatantly is because it's like... in the demo already that has been out for weeks, i'm also pretty sure it was something that's been shown off in gameplay previews for months now. i get wanting to avoid seeing too much promotional material, i've been avoiding a lot of trailers and such myself, but i really don't know why y'all wouldn't expect that it would be possible for me to mention a small bit of predictable, publicly available gameplay info during a 7 hour stream well past the release of these tidbits haha. it's really not that big of a spoiler, it's not even the most spoilery thing about the demo.
