I love the freshness of your designs and how clearly you explain everything, including the direction of seams. Some other tutorials don't bother explaining seam direction, which has tripped me up in the past. I'm adding this design to my growing list of your quilts I want to make.

Another great design. I might suggest that for those who do not already have it and like to work with strips to consider Gudrun's Stripology ruler. While an investment, it is my go-to ruler for making super quick work out of making lots of cuts with great accuracy. It will pay for itself if you cut 2.5" strips from yardage that you have--particularly for background fabric. We all know that jelly rolls have such a lovely assortment of "stuff". Thanks for your detailed pressing instructions.

Thanks for the tip and yes, that is a great ruler!

Those spare offcuts could be used for cornerstones in the sashing. I always find it easier to keep everything in line by using cornerstones 😃👍

I think you have cut too many pieces. I did as instructed, and have 2 2-1/2 inch squares left over, and 2 6-1/2 inch rectangles left over. 9 pieces total, not 13.
@MaterialGirlQuilts3 жыл бұрын
Hi Jan, you will use those pieces with different fabrics to make another block. You mix up your prints to have a total of 25 blocks.
