Unfortunately my previous video on Mateusz was taken down by Rogue Fitness due to the clips I used from the Arnold Strongman Classic, and it doesn't look like I'll be able to get it back up. So I have made a second video with some new clips and with the Arnold clips removed. Thank you so much for over 200k views on the previous video though.

@Ryan Weiner Assuming Hafthor stays healthy I think it will be a couple more years until Matuesz wins WSM or the ASC. Maybe 2021 or 2022? Currently his squat and deadlift aren't quite good enough to win the major shows but I'm sure he'll improve that over the next few years. He's very similar to Thor when he was younger, great at dynamic moving events but his squat and deadlift used to let him down.
@strongmantalk60435 жыл бұрын
@Ryan Weiner If he stays healthy I see no reason why he couldn't surpass 5 WSM titles. There isn't really anyone that can challenge him right now, however that could change in the next few years. I mean I thought Brian Shaw was going to surpass 5 titles, since he was so dominate in 2015/2016, but he hasn't won a major competition in 2 years now. So something similar could happen with Thor. I do think 8 ASC titles is a bit out of reach for Thor though. He would probably have to win 8 times in a row for that to happen which is unlikely.
@strongmantalk60435 жыл бұрын
@Ryan Weiner Most definitely. He's a very good all round strongman and he doesn't have any obvious weaknesses like Mateusz at the moment. I think konstantine janashia could also challenge for one of those titles in the next few years. He's got amazing static strength but just needs to improve his conditioning a little bit.
