LL did not sound rusty. Here's what I told all my friends after listening to it. My gut tells me Em pulled back ever so slightly out of respect and LL stepped up his game to max level out of respect. At the end of the day they sounded on par OVERALL, accounting for flow, energy, etc, etc, including lyricism. If I just look at the number double or entendres or number of internal rhymes than yes, Em by outdid LL but when listening to a song I look at the whole package untless there's some serious areas lacking. LL was well-rounded on that track and stepped up his lyrical game. Em and Em but maybe slightly and respectfully not trying to top himself. The end result was well balanced. LL did his things for sure.

The first mistake was putting Eminem on the album, but secondly it’s just a showcase of Eminem’s lack of diversity. Eminem is never made to come into the world of other artists, they all essentially do Eminem records. Vlad needs to keep quiet with LL sounding rusty. LL got busy and should get credit for matching Em with a style designed for Em. See what would have happened if the shit was flipped the other way around.
@M37_jaseАй бұрын
It’s no way you could get that from the song. Number 1, think about how the amount of style LL has switched to. He started the aggressive rock and roll style, spearheaded the Rap/R&b style, didn’t rap boom bap era style, and did modern rap style. No other artists has done this and stayed relevant. Kool Mo Dee and Run DMC could not evolve.
