Warner Bros could easily make a superman game with rocksteady but what they probably meant by it being too ambitious is the game would be difficult to balance because superman is almost invincible. what rocksteady could do is that superman gets poisoned with krpytonite and that he can take damage from enemies but still use his powers.

To make a really good and challenging Superman game it would be necessary to add a “limit” to a limitless character: For example, adding consequences to recklessness. Making players conscious of how to properly use powers. Making players truly feel the weight of being Superman and still have to decide who to save, what challenges to embrace and so on.

A punch quick enough to compress air boosting its power would still be a power one could attribute to Superman, even if we hadn't seen him do it (we have). I saw someone comment about putting Superman on a different planet so it would justify destroying things. That would be awesome the first part of the game is on that planet where you’re still learning how to control Superman. And then the second part of the game gets a ton more difficult because you’re on earth and you have to be careful not to destroy things. Maybe they could even have a meter with how much people like you that goes along with how much you destroy

It's not about not being able to make it into a game, it's about said game either being boring after a few hours due to the lack of challenge, or it wouldn't be a "True Superman" game because they had to nerf him into the ground where he can be killed by some random henchman. This game, however, is only *inspired* by Superman, so there isn't anything pre-set for the character. There won't be anyone to call our protagonist "fake" for being much weaker than he was originally established, because this is the original.

And there are meant factions in his mythos that can be believable canon fodder for him, along with an entire rogues gallery of villains that can push his shit in. They just want to take the short and easy route by not even trying.
