Yeah not sure I would take new rig there lol. I could see the nervousness in Taylor when you initially got there, then realized because she was seeing in Kevin so I understand lol. Great to see Wyatt getting so involved and doing the little fist pumps that was so cute. The view from there was amazing. Truck is definitely not a parking lot Princess lol. Glad the rain stopped and you got to see the abandoned town. That was a pretty steep incline to get that drone glad you got it. Great video guys looking forward to the next one. Have a great week.

Awesome video! Our son overlands and has been to San Juan mountains, Silverton and the ghost town! He’s about to head there again on Sunday! We just left his house, working on our van! Love the Wyatt footage! Taylor crossed that stream like a champ! Carry some binoculars. 😁 👍❤️

I went through Silverton a little over a year ago, & my brother and I stopped at that pink building in your video, with big letters out in front that says "BBQ". I had a pulled pork sandwich that was absolutely DELICIOUS!!! If you make it back there, I highly recommend it! 🙂

Pre-existing landslide above you on the mountain on the uphill at your campsite. Trust your wife's instincts! Just because it has stopped raining does not necessarily decrease the risks. The load is already on board and plenty of landslides occur after the rain stops! Safe travels.

I am in the process of switching to a slightly larger rig (Rossmonster Baja) than my previous one (F250 Tremor + Supertramp camper). Good to see you take this rig up that far with no issues. Great scenery! Just a slight critique if I may. More of what’s going on outside the truck and less super close up of you driving. Lol. Some drone footage of the truck climbing and going over obstacles would be cool. Got really dizzy from the inside movement. Awesome vehicle to showcase for sure.

You guys went to Iceland. I give you a thumbs up and think you’re good. I will say it looks like it slid already at some point. Not sure if you seen Amy and I in the blizzard in Iceland. I was pretty nervous and it takes a lot for me to be nervous. All good but totally get it’s hard to shake the nerves. Love the strawberry shortcake bars. Just keep saying you’re living the dream! All kinds of things going on in my head. Lol ill go over and give greg and jess some support from a fellow small creator. Looked pretty rugged out there. Oh man, my drone fell out of the sky and it went into the Long Island sound. I tried to recover it but almost got hypothermia. Ended up doing the replacement from care refresh. 🎉

Do you know what mine you were near in this video? My grandfather worked on the Lewis mine in the early 1900's. My brother lives in Telluride, CO and has said we'd have to hike in to see the Lewis Mine. It seems like you might be close. Great video!!

Good recovery with the drone. Hey, curious if you might want to look into a gimbal or even turning on enhanced stabilization on your camera for your handheld shots. They're very bumpy and kinda detract for your excellent storytelling. Definitely enjoying your experimentation with the Storyteller rig.

That was definitely landslide pron areia , it looked like just behind you was going to go at any moment , one torrential down pour away , I think you would have been fine even if it happened but you never know and you definitely would have been stuck their for a very long time , hopefully not as long as that car . Lol.

The capsule sits on bushings above the frame allowing it to flex and sway while the truck stays solid. You don't feel the sway of the capsule as much as you think.

Why? It’s obviously easy to communicate when you need to. Would you rather them call each other on the phone? Walkie talkies would be better as some of those small towns don’t have really good cell signals.

​@@MathersOnTheMap aside from having GMRS, you need to have satellite. We spent the whole month of August off grid in Colorado. We flipped over our trailer at 11,000 ft and thankfully we had satellite communication. At least we had somebody to communicate with on the other end until we were able to rectify the situation. They were actually spinning up to come get us but it was going to be the next day.
