We got off very lightly IMO, The two games are neither here or there in the longrun. Sure Forest will give us a tough game but we were quite evenly matched last time out from memory, they have improved somewhat since but we'll have him (injury allowing) for a tough run of games which is great. As for the Cup game, I'm hoping to see R.Gomes startand finish (that kids got plenty to offer) and to see Lima get a good outing too. Is Meupiyou fit to start? Lets mix it up, get the win but take the chance to view some of your younger, unseen players.

Something was said for him to react the way he did same with Ait Nouri, ok he could have handled it differently but it's at the time when one acts on impulse, remember we have already had two players who have been on the recieving end of racist remarks. I think the two games ban was because he admitted it, it's like in court plead guilty although you are innocent, in the pictures it looks like he is pushing the ipshit security officer away catching his glasses, even the doc looks bemused at what was said and looks shocked at something said, if I was the club I wouldn't let the Ipswich guy get away with, also wasn't an Ipswich player booked along with the Ait Nouri Nouri episode.

To be honest that's a better result than I was worried he's get. I'm glad that the FA Cup is in the two we've lost him for so only one Premiership game affected. Insofar as it would have been better had he not got into trouble, this is good as we could ask for. Hopefully Hwang and/or Guedes can step into the breech. I remain hopeful for the game against Forest despite their current form. Always Wolves, and here's to a successful 2025.

I reckon if Wolves can pick 30 points as quickly as possible from the 16 they have got after 19 games, this will have been a great escape. Wolves should get 31 points by 8th March, at home to Everton, which will enable the club to plan for next year with confidence and clarity. It is well documented that the team need central defenders, and if they get Daniel Ballard from Sunderland, or Ben Godfrey from Atalanta, or Kevin Danso from Lens, this will be the most important priority, instead of keeping Matheus Cunha during this next two transfer windows. As good as Cunha is, he lost his temper because the team had conceded 40 goals in just 16 games at that point in time. Wolves must play against a stubborn and counter attacking 2nd place Forest at home on 6th January. A resurgent 5th placed Newcastle on 15th January, away at Premier League contenders Chelsea on 20th, at home to another Premier League contender Arsenal on 25th. Then Aston Villa at home on 1st February, who are not as good last season for the past 2 months, and champions elect Liverpool away on 16th. Realistically, I cannot see where the points are coming from by the time 25 games are played on 16th February. If Wolves have at least 9 points on top of the 16 they currently have today, I think they will survive with 25 points gained, and another 13 matches to go after 16th February.

Obviously a fair few statements have gone in to form the bases of the investigation ....that has led to the punishment metered out. If he'd just done it for no reason fair enough.
