From a wolves fan, he could be world class. Teams would have to pay at least 70 million euros for him since we bought him for 55. It would be a miracle if we keep hold of him next season
@JR-sj1jzАй бұрын
€70 isn't enough. Start at €80m especially given how much was spent to get him. Look at what's happened to Palace without Olise. For smaller teams, finding good attacking talent is so difficult. The wealthier bigger teams don't have that same issue. They have the resources to pay the fees and wages plus obviously the prestige. And if one big signing fails they just go buy another one. In addition to getting the best youth players from smaller teams too. I have zero sympathy for these big teams. If fans of them have an issue with that, they should tell their club scouts to do a better job find talented cheap players. The big teams had a chance to buy him. They didn't. Wolves took the gamble so make the most of that return on investment
@alexandermcbrien264Ай бұрын
I think he might stay at the club for 1 more season next year but if he has another great season again next season which he probably will then he probably will leave the season after 100%
@TooRiskyHDАй бұрын
70m that’s cheap as chips 😂100m please
@iy1476Ай бұрын
He has the world cup to think about, somehow he's not getting noticed (even though Joao Gomes is) so he may force a move to a bigger club for that reason. He's made it clear his only real ambition is to play for Brasil, he was devastated when he missed out on the copa america
@orduenshambe4891Ай бұрын
Arsenal will get him in January for 60. You will take it and you will say thank you.
@guyzano7Ай бұрын
Another (small) part to the first goal against Fulham is that it had been raining, the ball was very slippy. And yet he controlled a 50 yard pass effortlessly. Ridiculously talented player
@flameflight17Ай бұрын
Would add strand larsen has become a great facilitator for cunha, constantly holding up the ball and occupying the CBs
@MrImabowssАй бұрын
With regards to that first goal Cunha scored, Gary'O'Neil mentioned that when they realised Lemina was going to be playing as a CB, they started working on making space then making deep runs in behind when Lemina has time and space on the ball (Bc he's good at long passes). The manager deserves a lot of credit for platforming Cunha for success.
@MrImabowssАй бұрын
Lemina played as a CB because they had a lot of injuries in that area. Manager used it to his advantage though, deserves credit.
@charlie0358Ай бұрын
o’neil is a decent coach makes changes when needed to and has a good game plan at times
@YasinvanpersieАй бұрын
He's a #10/#9 hybrid with a lot of resemblance to Firmino albeit with more of a goal scoring output. Feel his partnership with Strand Larsen has gone under the radar because Wolves were getting beat despite their endeavours
@abdulalimharuna9964Ай бұрын
I see him as a Bellingham
@IvanRyzhenkobАй бұрын
Benzema maybe, for 2/3 of he’s career he was playing something like that role and had flair, he’s back foot passes were insane
@abdulalimharuna9964Ай бұрын
@IvanRyzhenkob Benzema can't retire Ronaldo. Benzema is arguably the best striker to me because his finishing is unmatched when he's serious. But Ronaldo has finishing and more. So no. Not even Lewandowski can

As a wolves fan He really is a rare talent and as a fan in that away end his goals are unreal and as someone who has spoken to him a few times away from football he’s a genuine nice guy and we will probably lose him at the end of the season but until then I’m just enjoying watching him do his thing
@axelcarlson2678Ай бұрын
From a Wolves fan, love this James!
@georgemoschos6603Ай бұрын
Gary has fully entrusted Cunha and for very good reasons. Sometimes people say he is out of position but I genuinely think his creativity can be so far beyond others vision that it may seem that way. This team will only get better if they can make a good CB acquisition in January who is comfortable on the ball. Wolves aren't going to win games with clean sheets and they have to embrace it. They play with aggressive WBs in Seemed and Ait-Nouri who can embrace the chaos.
@Theexcellorator64Ай бұрын
First goal was dele alli esq with the run from deep - what a ball off lemina though playing as CB, he was fantastic. With Cunha Gomes and ran I think wolves have the most flare in the league - it's just like watching Brazil!
@johnnybb34103 күн бұрын
It’s about time he has been recognised as world class! ( especially by you 😁😁👍) Most of what you see and hear are the usual boring same old teams in the prem 🥱 We all know how good they are but it’s nice to see someone very different from the rest. Well done for recognising his talent👍
@micc0496Ай бұрын
been waiting for a Cunha breakdown for awhile from you thanks Jim. WE WILL NOT GO DOWN UTFW
@ThreeRunHomerАй бұрын
Starting runs from deeper gives his teammates time to recognize the run and make the pass. I don’t know why more forwards don’t do it.

As a wolves fan the last couple of seasons have been a hard watch. But Gary and Cunha have been a breath of fresh air. He plays like prime Chelsea era Eden Hazard. Sad to see him go in the summer when someone comes and offers us 60m for him.

Players like him and Havertz are so crucial in the right setup. To have such a wide skillset at a high level can sometimes be more valuable than being world class in half, or a third, of the same number of skills
