Ask a few questions then ask them the same questions in a different ways. They will obviously know you are asking about the same thing. Because the person understands why they're lying. The person may even get mad at you. But, you must stay calm. And tell them to answer the questions if they arent lying. Tell them, I want you to be telling the truth. So please just tell the truth or just answer the questions please. Thats what i do to my wife and kids hahaha

I used to follow a preacher in everything he said about the Bible. He would say the Bible is the infallible word of God. Jesus is God and there is a scripture for every situation. Before I was born again in1991 I never read the Bible because it's hard to understand. Then one day I decided that I am gonna believe God is who He says He is and my life changed instantly. I no longer had anger, I loved all people as God loves them. UNCONDITIONALLY! That night when I read the Bible suddenly I could understand it.The Holy Spirit revealed all truth. Everything Jesse talks about is what God showed me back in '91. My only regret is that I turned away from God and started listening to all the so called men of God. The preachers and pastors. I was seeking a deeper relationship with God ,but I failed to realize that God was there waiting for me to see that all men are liars. That's in the book as well. All preachers say things that they've heard from other men. Very very few get insight from God. God is with u. U don't need any man to teach u the Bible. U can get so caught up in it that u lose all common sense. I know . I been there. I couldn't believe all the things Jesse was saying either . But I asked God to show me if Jesse was right,and He started to bring it all back to me. I've come full circle back to where I strayed from depending on God for all knowledge and wisdom. You can definitely tell the difference from a child that grew up with both parents and a child that was raised with a single parent. You can tell a big difference. No matter how much you try to sugar coat it, Fathers are very important in a home, to have the right foundation in that home you must have a father. Now I grew up with my dad and my mum and even though no marriage is perfect there is a huge difference when you have both of your parents with you. Children that grow up with single mothers might have education and might have all that a parent will want for their kids but they always lack something that they would have had with their father.

As soon as Jesse wanted to discuss the real problem of the core family values and the destruction of the family within the black community, he immediately didn’t wanna talk anymore and said he did not come on the show to talk about family values. Does that not tell a lot about the leader ship in the African-American culture today or I should say their lack of leader ship? This man is supposed to be a leader in the community for African-American folks, a professor at a university and he could care less about addressing the central problem within the African American community. Not making excuses, but Blacks are programmed to go against conservative / Republican talking points. Because conservatives have recognized our problems first and have explained them to us, we automatically resist whatever is being said. It is a fatal flaw, I must say. You are exactly right though. As a Black man, I'm not sure if I could've said it any better myself. The ONLY issue Black people should be tackling and discussing is our households. Period. Everything else, including police brutality, is far down the list of priorities.

That’s why they hire publicists to do the research and vetting. They have to agree on what topics they will and will not discuss. Knowles was told by his publicist that he would be speaking of Destiny’s Child. I agree he should have maybe been more prepared for Jesse’s ways but again, that’s on the publicist. Gina 1965 I got saved by Jesus Christ in 2012. Before that I was a liberal and a white savior concerning Black folk. I always thought very highly of myself. My parents told me I could do no wrong.Even after getting in trouble with the law multiple times for public intoxication dui I still do not know why I have no peace. Then in the summer of 2012 I read the book of John. The Gospel of John. Where I got saved as in my house after reading that and thinking on some things. My worldview changed instantly. But I still had things from my past that I did not reconcile at that moment. Things like evolution. Basically everything I had to re-examine through the lens of the word of God and in doing so mine is changed on just about everything. Praise God!

I grew up and live in Alabama. One of my buddies that I work with and is in our small bible study group at work is a black man. Actually half of our bible study group are black men. But this man that is 60 and grew up in the South said he has never experienced racism. I was surprised to hear him say that. But he said he never did. He ran track in college at a large state school in Alabama I believe on scholarship. I'm beginning to believe that racism is made up. Hatred exists for sure and that is the root of what people call "racism".

Mike or ike it seems to me that you do not know what racism is because you never experienced it. Just because you give one example of what you deemed as black success doesn't mean racism doesn't exist. Everyone experiences are different. You need to study your history in the past so you can understand why racism is still in place today. Europeans and immigrants received reparation, land and government assistance to put them in place to succeed in this country in which black people ancestors built for free through slavery. You need to educate yourself more.

I went to a small high school, predominantly White. We had a small percentage of Black students attending. We ALL got along and there was interracial dating at our school back even in the late 60's. We were a small community of hard working families. All of us. We were all engaged in the community's activities, football, school dances, etc. --- After I graduated, Black students from the larger city were bussed in (integration). Those Black students started a lot of trouble with the Black students in our high school. Any unrest was caused by those being bussed in, not the kids in our community (Black, White, etc.) Perhaps the kids being bussed in were angry that the Black kids in our community got along with other kids? It seemed that they wanted them to be angry too?
