Mathews has a really great bow, but Hoyt has some features that I think are better, like a better draw cycle, 1/4" adjustments, and it's bullet proof. We're living in great times... bows have never been better.

I agree. Durability #1. That’s why it depends on the person. Someone like MFJJ who is all about working on bows for people likes the ease of tune when I just build my bow once maybe twice and done

Timing issues with Mathew’s is an easy and inexpensive fix. Conquest archery makes an in time system for when you need a micro timing solution. Works flawlessly.

The multidirectional shear forces on the screws holding the axle housing to the limbs introduced by having the limbs not parallel are significant. I am sure Mathews tested that and it will be fine. Right? Maybe do like when a new car/truck model is introduced and wait a year, or two, before buying one. Haha.

These bows are awesome and the price is not too bad either. But.... For a person who is switching to Mathews from another brand, in order to take advantage of all the Mathews features it'll cost you the price of the bow or more on top of the cost of the bow not including the cost of setup. Taking into consideration this fact the price is quite misleading. Be interested to see a cost comparison between a fully setup Mathews lift x, a RX-9, Elite Eon, etc
@shawnb6944Ай бұрын
I learned that with last years Lift. Bow might be cheaper but they make it up in their accessories.
@longshotdiedtired1582Ай бұрын
But doesn’t the Mathews bows only take there accessories? Like you have to buy all bridgelock ? Guess my point is they may not raise the price of the bow much but when you set the bow up it’s way more than the competition, could be wrong though
@Orr_sАй бұрын
You dont have to but not using all the bridge lock features and everything with a brand new bow, would be kinda like putting regular grade in a Ferrari instead of premium lol just not at the full potential and taking advantage as much. But comes at a big cost. Nvm if you want to upgrade rest and sight too
@longshotdiedtired1582Ай бұрын
@ that’s good to know ,I didn’t realize they had the option of taking the older style accessories
@Orr_sАй бұрын
@@longshotdiedtired1582 yeah you would basically just direct mount everything like the sight on a direct mount or dovetail and same with the rest and quiver, stabilizers of course. But the bridge lock is easy enough because if you have a nice sight already most companies you can buy the bridge lock mount cheap and then mount that on the sight and take advantage of the bridge lock sight feature. It just will not be as super streamlined and balanced, and as slim of a package, which isnt a deal breaker, just depends how crazy youd wanna get. The quiver is what would make most noticeable of a difference as far as not being super streamlined and close to the bow.
