Tried it out today. It is quieter…but definitely not worth upgrading from my V3X 33. And like a lot of people are saying already, $700 for a stabilize system is just crazy. Oh…and 22 degrees, I remember September…laughs in Alaska 😂

@@longshotdiedtired1582 With the development of the Bridgelock for stabilizers, Mathews found a solution to a problem that didn’t exist. I have found no one that thinks that system is better then the quick disconnect setups on the market now. I never thought I’d say this about Mathews, but it looks gimmicky and a pricey one at that. It is clearly not better then the V3X series.

The bow has all the threaded holes to use any stabilizer / rest / sight you want. People seem to be under the impression that you HAVE to buy Mathew’s system stuff. You don’t. My concern is the rubber strips between the 8 limbs… that’s not gonna hold up to weather and will be a dirt magnet.

A revolutionary bow is here it's called the Bowtech Reckoning gen 2 in 36 or 39 inch ata. Nothing has the ease of tunability and you don't need a bow press for timing draw adj. Left to right cam adj. Simply can't be out done.

I am a lifelong Mathews fan. I currently own a Denalin, Vertix and V3X 33. I always look forward to the latest greatest innovations Mathews brings each year. Been a fan of them all, except this year. The bridge lock system on the V3X is a great idea for sights, but not stabilizers. The compound bow industry reached the pinnacle of perfection with the quick disconnect system most of us use today. The Bridge Lock for stabilizers does nothing to improve on it.

The bridge lock stab is an objective improvement given the physics of less parts. It just may not be $250 worth of improvement. 1% better is still better. Although I will miss angle adjustment and a place to screw the wrist strap with.

i recently shot the v3x 33 and phase 4 33.. got the v3x 33 as it felt exactly the same as the phase 4 but with more reliable limbs i felt than that rubber splitting the limb on the phase 4. there was no difference in vibration or sound between the two i could notice.

Its a really nice bow. I shot it , the ventum pro and the v3x. Got the v3x because I wanted a change from hoyt and the p4 was a bit more dead in the hand but the rubber between limbs through me off. Rubber degrades no matter what. If I bought a new bow every other year, it wouldn’t bother me at all. But i tend to keep ghem for about 10

Are you seeing 350 with actual hunting weight arrows? Usually IBO is with 30" DL, 70# bow and a 350 grain arrow. You can guarantee at LEAST a 20fps drop right away when you build a hunting arrow. I have waited for many years to get something better than my og vertix. It seems that i have to wait yet another year. Mathews is focusing way too much at the sound and vibration. They should be focusing more on tunability, like bowtec with the deadlock, elite with the SET and LTR systems and pse with the LAS system. The easy tunability is where the next big archery innovation is.

So in Mathews logic and still what they try to tell us is a traverse must have the same dezibel as an fighter Jet ...... Cmon ... seriously 🤣🤣🤣 enough from Storys that feeds better im an Lord of the Ring Movie as in a real world ... I would see serious tests with an hooter shooter an corded release in an audio room without any people with brand new Traverse, VXR , V3 and so on .
