I usually upgrade to a newer Mathew’s every 5 yrs give or take! But the prices are climbing fast with technology and exceptional quality but for the average family man Mathew’s is becoming a little out of reach for some cost wise! There second to none for sure but the price of upgrading is going to make a person like me hold on to the current bow much longer

Its literally a regular UV SLIDER with a shorter bar. The only difference is the price, removable chargeable light (the original takes a battery, no big deal) and the Mathews sticker. The UV SLIDER is selling for $600. This new Mathews sight is $100 dollars more. Is a $700 dollar sight worth it for just two changes?

@@HunterZybach It's the exact same, except they have a short bar, narrower profile body, cleaner elevation clicks, brighter fibers from natural light, improved lighting system with a rechargeable removable light, ~20% lighter weight, improved housing shape, additional pin options, relocated 1st, 2nd and 3rd axis adjustments, a zero stop... I take that back, they are the exact same sight.

What is the scope size? Is it closer to 41mm or 31mm?

Double tapes are completely necessary, not for hunting but for shooting hunting arrows on one tape and target arrows on the other tape. Absolutely necessary

I was told by a member of the Mathews team that the LH version is a TRUE LH version with the lever lock on the top....ORDERED! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how they took my main gripe and made the bar STRAIGHT out of the riser instead of shifting all the weight of the sight off to the side! Great work guys!

Are the fiber optics more bright on these then the standard uv sights?

I had heard they are, as the outer front housing was cleared, then darkened because they were too bright (according to Beereals video).

Only thing I don’t like on my UV sight is that you can’t buy the arm alone, I switched to Mathews after buying it and now I’m stuck with side mounting it despite having the bridgelock on the bow

Never consider the UV Slider until now…. Just looked at one of these and I’ll have one (in 6 months?) or however long it takes for them to come in!! Now just give us a two or 3 pin vertical that we can move each pin!

The cost doesn't bother me so much- I buy what I want. But i have to ask the question - why paper tapes instead of metal .... for a $700 sight? Any reason why the light doesn't auto shutoff ... for a $700 sight? When locked down, why does the wheel still move ... for a $700 sight? And why no color match options ... for $700 sight? And why no micro adjust pins ... for a $700 sight? This is a nice sight, sure, but it's worth no where near $700. It needs a price point closer to Trophy Ridge sights. For $380 you can a Trophy Ridge Digital React Trio Pro + $40 for a Bridgelock bar, and have a far more feature rich sight, and save $280. Again, I don't care about spending $700, as long as I'm getting $700 worth of product, but this isn't it. I was in the bow shop the other day buying a Lift X and after looking at the UV, I bought a Dialed Pruf to put on it for all of the gripes I listed above.
